The Tehama-Glenn Fire Safe Council (TGFSC) was formed in 2000 to address issues related to wildfire and fire safety through community-based Fire Prevention Education.
The TGFSC is a non-profit formally recognized as a Fire Safe Council by the California Fire Safe Council.
Fire Safe Councils are grassroots, community-led organizations that mobilize residents to protect their homes, communities, and environments from catastrophic wildfire.
The TGFSC is managed by the Resource Conservation District of Tehama County.
The Tehama-Glenn Fire Safe Council meets 4 to 5 times a year.
